Thanks to Ryan Nassib’s three touchdowns, the Syracuse Orange (5-5, 4-2 Big East) rolled over the undefeated No. 9 Louisville Cardinals 45-26 Saturday.

Nassib completed 15 of 23 passing attempts for 246 yards, and helped his team convert 14 third downs into first downs in one of the biggest upsets of the season. Running back Jerome Smith carried the ball 18 times for 144 yards and a score. Alec Lemon hauled in nine catches for 176 yards and two touchdowns.

Louisville (9-1, 4-1) struggled to put up points all day. Quarterback Teddy Bridgewater completed 36 passes for 424 yards, three touchdowns and a pick. Wide out Eli Rogers caught 10 receptions for 97 yards and a TD.

Syracuse will play the Missouri Tigers at Faurot Field next Saturday at 7:00 p.m. ET. Louisville will host Connecticut Nov. 24 at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium.
