Alabama maintained its No. 1 ranking atop the FanSided Top 25, a position the Crimson Tide has held throughout the season. However, Oregon’s 59-14 pasting of Tennessee Saturday earned the Ducks eight first place votes in this week’s balloting.

Oregon is just four points behind Alabama, which garnered 13 first place votes after its 49-42 defeat of Texas A&M. The Aggies remain in the top 10 however, one of four SEC programs to occupy top billing.

Seven SEC teams check into this week’s Top 25 in total. Second most represented conference is the Pac-12, which notched five Top 25 teams: Oregon, Stanford, UCLA, Washington and Arizona State. A sixth, Arizona, was first among other receiving votes.

The Big 12 landed four in the Week 4 Top 25, thanks to new entrant Texas Tech. The Red Raiders claimed the final spot after their defeat of TCU Thursday.
