Sports Illustrated’s Andy Staples answered some Twitter questions recently in a video and we thought we would pass it along.

Two topics of interest are broken down by Staples in his weekly segment. First is whether or not the Florida wide receiver coach position is the worst in football. Florida has not produced a season where a wide receiver amassed 600 yard or more in receiving yards since Riley Cooper in 2009. Chris Leak – who actually played with Cooper at Florida – will be the new wide receivers coach for Florida in 2014. Will Leak be able to help Florida receivers become more productive than they have the last four seasons?

The other topic of interest surrounds the idea of BYU joining the Big 12. The biggest factor preventing this is one number: $40 million. This is the sum of money the Big 12 estimates it will be distributing the the 10 Big 12 schools in the near future. Because BYU would have to find a second school to join them in the Big 12 and the revenue jump may not be high enough to maintain the $40 million per school mark, early indications would seem to be BYU has an uphill battle in front of them.
