The Ending To Penn State-Central Florida Was Thrilling [Video]

College football action had an early start this morning with Penn State taking on Central Florida in Dublin, Ireland. Yes, Dublin, Ireland. Don’t ask me why.

Penn State held a 23-17 lead over Central Florida with 3:30 remaining in the game and the Scarlett Knights needing to travel 75-yards to take the lead. And that is exactly what Central Florida did, culminating with this touchdown with 1:13 left.

Game over, right? Nah.

James Franklin’s quarterback Christian Hackenberg, who had already set a school record for passing yards in a game, led the Nittany Lions 55 yards to set up a 36-yard field goal for Sam Ficken. He nailed it as time expired and Penn State came away with the victory.

Franklin was so pleased, he had illusions of testing flight regulations on the way home.
