PENN STATE KEY: Penn State is traveling to Dubin to open their season against Central Florida to kickoff today’s slate of games. It also doubles as James Franklin’s debut with the Nittany Lions after departing for Vanderbilt.

To pull off the minor upset the Lions will need to get a stable performance from their offensive line, which has rather leaky this spring and summer. Enough stability their may be able to turn a few field goals in to touchdowns.

CENTRAL FLORIDA KEY: Central Florida is looking to build off of last season’s 12-1 season and BCS bowl game win with a victory over Penn State. Sophomore quarterback Justin Holman will look to take over where Blake Bortles left off. And William Stanback will have his hands full trying to replace Storm Johnson at running back.

A quality performance from Holman and Stanback should be enough to get past the Nittany Lions in Ireland. A few turnovers from either one and UCF will likely start their season with a loss.
