Saturday Blitz Vegas Pac 12 Predictions Week 3

Saturday Blitz Record in Last Week’s Pac 12 Predictions: 9-2 (18-5 Overall)

Two weeks into the college football season, we have learned a lot about Pac 12 football already. It is obviously a very deep conference that, along with the ACC, could compete with the SEC for college football power. Washington State does not appear to be the team we all thought they could be. Oregon is definitely as good as they were hyped up in the offseason. Arizona State is a legitimate threat. Arizona is very good.

And USC is back among the Pac 12 elite after beating Stanford over the weekend. Stanford is still good, though, as they should be able to still compete for the Pac 12 championship without any trouble the rest of the season. This is now a very deep conference with lots of good teams, but there are still questions we have about the conference that have a great chance to be answered this weekend.

For starters, just how good is UCLA? After struggling against Virginia and Memphis, the Bruins are starting to raise eyebrows and draw skepticism as to just how good they are. A game against Texas this week will give us a better read on them, even if Texas is down this year. Despite the questions about them, though, they are 2-0, regardless of how they got there, and they are still in contention for the Pac 12 championship themselves.

More from Arizona State Sun Devils

Colorado showed signs of life in a close win over Massachusetts last Saturday after an opening-game loss to Colorado State, but at least they have shown a decent team in the first two games that is capable of pulling off a few upsets. Add in the fact that Utah appears to be returning to form finally in Pac 12 play while Oregon State is making noise as well, and you have a conference that has lots of good teams top to bottom. Washington is starting to raise questions more serious than UCLA’s questions.

This weekend, unfortunately, there are not a lot of great games, but there are a few against other big opponents and a chance for certain teams to begin to stand out. It’s nowhere near as bad as the SEC of Big 12 slates last weekend.

So here are the Saturday Blitz Vegas Pac 12 Predictions for Week 3 of the college football season.
