Saturday Blitz Pac 12 Power Rankings Week 4

The Pac 12 showed us a lot this week despite the fact that only eight teams saw action over the weekend. One thing is for sure, though: behind the SEC this is definitely the best, and the deepest college football conference in America.

It may have seemed silly to have to state that, but for a week the ACC was giving it a run. Now, it’s clear. Over the weekend, the conference showed us that there are lots of good teams that play good football, including teams we thought were at the bottom of the barrel.

Cal showed us it is no fluke despite losing. Colorado is slowly showing improvement and that it does have a better team than last year. Washington is finally putting together complete games and looks like a Top 25-caliber team after all. And then there’s Utah, Arizona, and Oregon State. These are three undefeated teams in the conference that do not yet appear ready to simply concede the title to the Oregons and UCLA’s out west.

Speaking of Oregon, they still look like an offensive juggernaut, but what’s more impressive is that Washington State could finally be finding a rhythm under Mike Leach after it played the Ducks to a one-touchdown loss on Saturday.

All of these things hint that the conference could be potentially the deepest in the country. Find out where they all stand in our Pac 12 Power Rankings here.
