The Miami Hurricanes are coming off perhaps their biggest win of the Al Golden era, a 22-10 victory over the Duke Blue Devils.

More from ACC

Although the Hurricanes are just 1-1 in the ACC and 3-2 overall, they have not lost to an ACC Coastal game and their win over the defending division champs gives them a huge leg-up in the division. On Saturday, the Hurricanes have another huge division showdown when they travel to Atlanta to take on the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets at Bobby Dodd Stadium.

When they take the field Saturday night, the Hurricanes will be without their top two right tackles, starter Taylor Gadbois and his backup, K.C. McDermott. Both players left Duke game with knee injuries.

“Right now we’re moving forward without Taylor and Kc,” Hurricanes head coach Al Golden told The Miami Herald. “[Alex] Gall was better today, so he has an outside chance. But Trevor Darling, [Nick] Linder, [Hunter] Wells and Sunny Odogwu, those are our nine guys right now rotating in [along with usual starters Jon Feliciano, Ereck Flowers, Shane McDermott and Danny Isidora] –- [with] a little bit of Joe Brown. Those are the guys we’re getting ready to go in the game. We’ve already moved on in terms of practice and as we get information from the medical staff we’ll update that.”

As Golden pointed out, the Hurricanes’ options at right tackle are Trevor Darling, Nick Linder, Sunny Odogwu and Hunter Wells.

The Hurricanes and Yellow Jackets will kick-off at 7:30 pm EST Saturday and the game is on ESPN2.
