Saturday Blitz Vegas ACC Predictions Week 6

Saturday Blitz Record in ACC Games Last Week: 6-3 (44-12 Overall)

The ACC is back to being, well, the ACC. Only finally it’s back to the ACC of the 1990s, with six new teams. Florida State is dominant, other teams may challenge, and a bunch of teams are decent or good. But now, we’re having a hard time separating these teams due to how inconsistent they have been. Thankfully, conference play should make that easier as it finally takes off this weekend.

There are six games in the conference this weekend, and all of them involve conference teams playing each other, so we finally will be able to start getting a good read on the incredible level of parity, generated out of mediocrity, in this conference. It starts with a Friday night game between two former Big East Rivals now in the ACC, and it continues with a pretty exciting Saturday slate.

  • The conference is so wide open right now that anybody could still come up and compete with Florida State, and now other teams have more confidence because the Seminoles have struggled in back to back weeks. Perhaps they did take a step back this year. Or maybe they are simply playing down to their opponents. But ACC teams now have been given what could be false hope to potentially steal the conference.

Are any of them good enough to do that? Could Louisville sneak up? Is Georgia Tech really as good as its record indicates? What about Miami? Are the Hurricanes improving as the season goes on? They just might be. All of those teams have chances to prove how good they are this week.

And to do that, they need to start winning on a consistent basis. Find out who does that this weekend as we provide our Week 6 Vegas ACC Predictions.
