Saturday Blitz Week 6 Big Ten Power Rankings

The Big Ten had its hand in the shocking weekend of upsets, but by the end of the night the result of Big Ten play brought us the type of power rankings we expected to have by the end of the season. For the most part. At least in the Top three.

Okay, so the power rankings are still nowhere near what we thought they’d be, but that has a lot to do with how ridiculously inconsistent teams in the conference have been so far this year. Similar to the ACC now, the Big Ten is loaded with parity, and that makes these power rankings really difficult to do. We can’t simply go by record, and we can’t go by head-to-head.

More from Big Ten

Right now the Big Ten is incredibly jumbled, and it’s hard to sort everybody out. But the worst team in the Big Ten is easy to pick, and it doesn’t bode well for a certain fan base or certain coach. That is one thing we certainly didn’t expect to see going into the season, but it’s one of many.

There are plenty of conference games left to shake up these power rankings, but nobody is undefeated anymore in the conference. There is still good football worth watching, so don’t take your eyes off of it yet.

And knowing that things could change in once again this weekend, here are our Week 6 Big Ten Power Rankings.
