The Tennessee Volunteers suffered their third consecutive loss on Saturday.

After starting the season 2-0, they have dropped games to the Oklahoma Sooners (34-10), Georgia Bulldogs (35-32) and the Florida Gators (10-9).

That didn’t stop the Volunteers from continuing their success on the recruiting trail. On Wednesday, they earned a commitment from 3-Star running back Vincent Perry. The 5’9, 170-pounder is a local prospect from Nashville, Tennessee. He attends Hillsboro High School.

Vincent Perry is ranked as the country’s 14th-best all-purpose running back prospect, the 17th-best overall prospect from the state of Tennessee and the 578th-best overall prospect in the class of 2015 according to 24/7 Sports’ composite rankings.

Vincent Perry took a visit to the Vanderbilt Commodores in the summer and also holds offers from the Illinois State Redbirds, Kentucky Wildcats and Mercer Bears.

Vincent Perry is the Volunteers’ 25th commitment in the class of 2015. Their class is headlined by 5-Star defensive tackle Kahlil McKenzie, 5-Star wide receiver and 4-Star defensive tackle Shy Tuttle. Their class ranks fifth nationally and fourth in the SEC.
