Saturday Blitz Vegas Big Ten Predictions Week 7

Saturday Blitz Record in Big Ten Games Last Week: 3-3 (42-20)

If you’re a Big Ten traditionalist, this is a week for some very exciting football games. If you’re a casual college football fan, it might put you to sleep.

The Big Ten is a lot better than we were initially given credit for, but there are still questions about too many teams in this conference. And unfortunately, there is only one ranked team from the conference playing this weekend in Michigan State. So you might not have a lot to look forward to.

But don’t expect the games to not be exciting.

More from College Football News

If you follow what’s great about college football, there are still plenty of games worth watching. Penn State-Michigan is the night game that shouldn’t be ignored. Even if Michigan is now bad, these are two traditional powerhouses going at it. Who wants to miss that? And there is still an exciting reason to watch this: the Michigan soap opera with Brady Hoke.

There are other good games as well. From a football perspective alone, Minnesota-Northwestern has quite a few implications for the now wide-open Big Ten West. With the Wildcats hitting their stride and the Golden Gophers playing well all year, this is one you won’t want to miss.

Indiana-Iowa could determine which team actually makes a bowl game this year, and Illinois-Wisconsin will also be intriguing. And don’t discount Michigan State-Purdue with the improvement the Boilermakers have shown.

The Big Ten teams are very jumbled right now and hard to distinguish. There’s the possibility for that to change this weekend. Or it could simply stay the same.

So with really no idea how thing are going to turn out down the road, here are our Vegas Big Ten Predictions for Week 7.
