Courtney Wallace commits to Texas Tech: Red Raiders land 3-Star DT

The Texas Tech Red Raiders landed a commitment from 3-Star defensive tackle Courtney Wallace on Sunday

Although the Texas Tech Red Raiders lost fourth consecutive game after a 2-0 start, this time a last second 37-34 defeat at the hands of the West Virginia Mountaineers, they got one win over the weekend.

3-Star defensive tackle Courtney Wallace gave his pledge to Kliff Kingsbury’s squad on Sunday.

The 6’2, 209-pound Courtney Wallace is from Monroe, Louisiana and attends Neville High School. He is ranked as the country’s 85th-best defensive tackle prospect, the 76th-best overall prospect from the state of Louisiana and the 1,505th-best overall prospect in the class of 2015 according to 24/7 Sports’ composite rankings.

He also holds offers from Arkansas State, Central Arkansas, Grambling State and Louisiana Tech, among others.

Courtney Wallace becomes the Red Raiders’ 11th commitment. Their class is headlined by 5-Star quarterback Jarrett Stidham and another defensive tackle, 4-Star Breiden Fehoko.
