And just like that, the ACC has earned back lots of respect. How about those guys on the East Coast, particularly in the South?

The ACC was supposed to be the conference barely above a mid-major. The SEC was the might invincible conference.

And the ACC went 4-0 against the SEC.

Okay, so we know it’s a little bit overrated because the ACC did that to the SEC East, where hardly anybody is good. Outside of maybe Georgia-Tech Georgia, it was the top of the ACC against the bottom of the SEC. So we’re not going to give much respect to the conference for what happened.

Still, the parity in the conference and number of mediocre to good teams has oozed through again. Up until Saturday, there were 12 teams in the conference with a legitimate shot at a bowl game, and 11 managed to make it in. You’ll notice quite a few 6-6 teams on that list, but hey, they all are bowl eligible, and that’s what counts isn’t it?

More from ACC

With only the ACC Championship left, this week’s ACC Power Rankings features all of those teams jumbled together. And it was incredibly hard to sort them out, except for at the top. The Top 4 teams were easy.

And we had no trouble picking the top team, as that would be obvious for anybody to figure out. Still, the rest of the rankings got a bit tricky, but with the end of the regular season, we did our best.

And with that, here are our ACC Power Rankings for Week 14 of the college football season.
