The ACC in 2014 was once again filled with things we expected and things we were surprised about. Among the expected was Jameis Winston and Florida State capturing the ACC, Clemson being a top team once again, and Louisville under new Coach Bobby Petrino keeping Louisville in the mix. The surprises on the other hand, far outweigh the things that were expected. The positives include Boston College being bowl eligible, Georgia Tech claiming the Coastal Division, and North Carolina State posting eight wins.

The disappointing surprises however include Duke failing to win games they should have won down the stretch, including a blowout loss to North Carolina, North Carolina finishing with a meager six wins, and Syracuse with QB Terrel Hunt finishing with just three wins and one in ACC play.

In 2015, the ACC is sure to see changes once again, Florida State lost QB Jameis Winston to the draft, Boston College lost QB Tyler Murphy, North Carolina State and Miami have young QB’s another year older, and Clemson has along with DeShaun Watson, another great recruiting class coming in to challenge for the crown. There are numerous changes that will occur throughout Spring football that will change the way these teams are looked at (injuries, coaching changes, dismissals, etc.), but for now here is how I see the ACC stacking up in the 2015 ACC football rankings.
