Jameis Winston headlines the group of NFL Draft prospects from the ACC who could have as many as eight players taken in the first round on Thursday.

The presumptive No. 1 pick in the NFL Draft hails from the ACC where 2013 Heisman Trophy winner and national champion quarterback, Jameis Winston figures to be the top pick of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Winston has been called the best quarterback prospect since Andrew Luck and his college production and team success reflects that but he has a number of red flags stemming from his well documented off-the-field concerns.

It likely won’t be enough for him to slide out of the top spot as the ACC has a number of other talented future pros who haven’t gotten their share of the spotlight with Winston hogging the media’s attention.

Whether it’s Louisville’s DeVante Parker or Clemson’s record-breaking pass rusher, Vic Beasley, the conference has three players who should be drafted in the first half of the draft and another three-five prospects who should hear their name called when the draft begins on Thursday.

Let’s take a look at the top draft prospects from the ACC and where they figure to hear their name called.
