LSU RB Leonard Fournette trolls Vernon Hargreaves, Florida on Instagram (Photo)

LSU Tigers running back Leonard Fournette trolled the heck out of Florida Gators cornerback Vernon Hargreaves with an Instagram photo sure to rile up the two fan bases.

Vernon Hargreaves got the attention of LSU at the recent SEC Media Days when he was asked about the rivalry between the Tigers and Gators and who the real Defensive Back University is. The All-American cornerback said, “We’ll let the season play out and it won’t be close” in UF/LSU battle for “DBU.”

This was after both schools released a DBU video in the offseason with Florida the first to release their video that had LSU players Jamal Adams and Jalen Mills laughing off the notion Florida was DBU.

But today, LSU running back Leonard Fournette fired back with a post on Instagram with him standing tall after rushing for 140 yards and two touchdowns in LSU’s 30-27 win in the Swamp last year while Hargreaves is laying face down on the grass.

The offseason is a great time to fill the time until the season kicks off with stuff like this from Fournette because you know this will come back when Florida travels to Baton Rouge in October for the annual crossover game between the two programs.

If you don’t think this will be plastered all over the Gators locker room that week to use as bulletin board material, then you’re nuts.

I don’t think Fournette needed to censor himself on his own social media account, and he’s the type of player who can back up his boastful words, and I think this is only going to intensify the rivalry between the two and I see nothing wrong with that at all from a fan’s perspective.
