BYU’s season may come down to Taysom Hill and how well he fares in these five games that are undoubtedly the most important of the year for the Cougars.

The 2015 season for the BYU Cougars will be defined by many things. How will the team overcome suspensions and injuries? Can Bronco Mendenhall win enough games to keep his seat from getting hotter? Not just win gimme games either but win some of these big games that can put BYU on the national map in 2015.

More from BYU Cougars

As you can see a lot of story lines for the cougars in 2015. There probably isn’t a team in the country that needs a great season more than BYU now. They have seen their main rival leave for the Pac-12 and have success. They have been consistent on the field going 8-5 each of the last three seasons which needs to stop and get better.

The fan base is thirsty for some real glory. They can no longer survive talking about the glory days under LaVell Edwards. BYU fans are loyal and never waver from their support of the Cougars but they need to see results and soon.

BYU’s schedule is ripe with opportunities to make their fans happy or devastate them based on how the team plays. The chance to prove that BYU belongs in the playoffs is here in 2015. Of all the group of five schools BYU will have the schedule to make an argument for inclusion. So here is my take on the five most important games for BYU this season.
