Baylor’s 400-pound tight end LaQuan McGowan catches touchdown (Video)
Baylor’s LaQuan McGowan scored a touchdown which is really remarkable when you consider he’s 400 pounds and playing tight end.
The Baylor Bears have arguably the most potent offense in college football with quarterback Seth Russell throwing to receivers Corey Coleman and KD Cannon and running back Shock Linwood in position to lead the Big 12 in rushing.
But the Bears have another secret weapon in their offense that makes slowing down this unit so difficult and that’s 400-pound tight end LaQuan McGowan who is more than a gimmick because he added his second career touchdown catch in Saturday’s game against the overmatched Kansas Jayhawks.
Now that’s Piesman worthy moment right there and more politically correct than saying it was a “fat guy touchdown” just in case you’re not PC, bro.
Sports Illustrated’s Andy Staples wrote a nice profile on the biggest skill position player in college football earlier this year that you should check out to read more about the player who could be literally the biggest matchup nightmare for opposing defenses to cover this year.
