Georgia RB Nick Chubb suffers gruesome leg injury vs Tennessee (Video)
Georgia Bulldogs running back Nick Chubb left the game against the Tennessee Volunteers with a devastating leg injury.
Nick Chubb left the game against Tennessee after his first carry went for three yards and he was tackled and landed awkwardly and looked like he suffered a devastatingly ugly left knee injury.
Warning: This post contains video of the injury and it’s graphic.
The Bulldogs sophomore running back is a Heisman Trophy candidate and a future stud in the NFL when eligible for the NFL Draft, but his immediate future is in question after this injury that likely ends his day against the Vols in a must-win game for both teams. And his availability for Georgia the rest of the season is in doubt.
There is video of the play, but I would just stop reading if you don’t want to see the injury after Chubb tried to gain some extra yards and his left leg/knee was injured. He’s on the sidelines and very emotional as trainers attend to him and his teammates are coming over to him and praying with him and for him.
Again, the video is pretty graphic, so if you don’t want to see, just close out the article here.
You can watch the game between Georgia and Tennessee on CBS and stay tuned to Saturday Blitz as more updates come in regarding the health of one of the nation’s best players, regardless of position.
With Chubb out, the pressure falls on Sony Michel and Keith Marshall to shoulder the rushing load until he comes back, whenever that may be.
