Oklahoma vs Texas live stream: Start time, TV channel and how to watch online
By Hayden Hyde
Texas and Oklahoma meet again for another installment of the Red River Rivalry in Dallas, Texas. Will the Longhorns pull the upset, or will Oklahoma roll Texas as expected?
Charlie Strong’s Longhorns are desperate for a win, but this weekend may not be the best time to get one. Texas will travel to the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Texas to face the No. 10 Oklahoma Sooners.

The Longhorns got trounced 50-7 against TCU last week, and their fate doesn’t look much better against Oklahoma. Baker Mayfield will look to strengthen his Heisman campaign against a weak Longhorn defense that has surrenders an average of 296 passing yards per game. Much like Trevone Boykin last week, Mayfield should find success against Texas’ inexperienced defense.
On the flip side, Strong and the Longhorns will need to find a way to at least keep this game close. Texas suffered one of the worst losses in its history against TCU, so it wouldn’t be good to get embarrassed again, especially against Oklahoma.
The Longhorns have had a whirlwind of a week. In addition to getting blown out in Fort Worth, they’ve had to deal with players tweeting during halftime, reports have surfaced that the older players aren’t motivated to perform, and have obviously suffered rifts in the locker room. A win against Oklahoma won’t fix everything, but it sure will help.
