Nick Chubb is getting support from former college greats who suffered gruesome injuries in college.

Georgia running back Nick Chubb suffered a devastating leg injury on the first play of the game between the Bulldogs and Tennessee Volunteers and is getting support from former greats Todd Gurley and Marcus Lattimore who suffered knee injuries in college.

More from Georgia Bulldogs

Chubb suffered this leg injury after trying to gain some more yards before going out of bounds and had to be carted to the locker room after trainers tended to his left knee/leg. He looked in shock, literally, he looked like he was going to pass our from the incomparable amount of pain he was experiencing.

Two people who can relate to the pain Chubb is experiencing are former Georgia back Todd Gurley who suffered a torn ACL last November and former South Carolina back Marcus Lattimore who suffered one of the worst injuries you’ll ever see, oddly enough against Tennessee as a junior.

Gurley went on to be the No. 10 pick in the 2015 NFL Draft and just had a breakout game in the NFL and he sent out a tweet saying he’s praying for his former teammate.

Lattimore, who also suffered a season-ending torn ACL as a sophomore, is also praying for Chubb to have a clear conscience and know God has a plan for him.

Lattimore was never able to fully recover from his leg injuries to play in the NFL so hopefully when we get word of the extent of Chubb’s injury, he can have a recovery closer to Gurley’s than Lattimore’s and we’ll see him back for Georgia before he can have a long and healthy career in the NFL.
