Four weeks into the season and some teams have lost their star players already. Week 4 brings some interesting injuries to the table, here is the Week 4 injury report…

RB Bradrick Shaw, Wisconsin

Wisconsin running back Bradrick Shaw is out of Saturday’s game against Michigan State with a shoulder injury.

Shaw has 25 carries for 134 yards and a touchdown for Wisconsin this season. He is the team’s second leading rusher.

The injury puts the Badgers running game in a bit of a limbo. The Badgers use a three running back rotation, but with Shaw out, that makes two running backs available.

The Michigan State defense only allows 72 rushing yards a game. Wisconsin needs all the running backs they can afford this week.

RB Corey Clement, Wisconsin

Badgers running back Corey Clement is questionable for Saturday’s game against Michigan State with an ankle injury.

Wisconsin is hobbled by injury as they enter Big Ten Conference play. Clement is the team’s leading rusher with 197 yards and also the leader in touchdowns with three.

Clement’s services will definitely be needed as the Badgers will already be without running back Bradrick Shaw. The Michigan State front four is a bull. Without two running backs, the Badgers could be in for a long game.

CB Cameron Sutton, Tennessee

Cornerback Cameron Sutton is out for this Saturday’s annual meeting with Florida due to a dislocated ankle.

Sutton sustained the injury in the first quarter of the team’s game against Ohio and will be out for an extended period of time.

Sutton is one of the unsung leaders of the Volunteers defense. As they enter SEC play this week, they face the Florida Gators.

There’s added pressure to this season’s game. Florida has won the last 11 meetings.

QB Kendall Hinton, Wake Forest

The Demon Deacons offense may be in jeopardy their next few games, as quarterback Kendall Hinton will miss 2-4 weeks with a knee injury.

Hinton suffered a knee injury in the Demon Deacons victory over the Delaware Blue Hens 38-21. The Demon Deacons has enjoyed their first 3-0 start since 2008.

Backup quarterback John Wolford will be Hinton’s replacement. Wolford is 25-46 passing this season with 251 passing yards, a touchdown and an interception.

Wake Forest plays at Indiana, at NC State, Syracuse, and at Florida State in their next four games.

WR Devon Allen, Oregon

The Oregon Ducks have lost receiver Devon Allen, their best offensive weapon, for the season due to a torn ACL.

Allen went down in the Ducks loss to Nebraska this past weekend and was lost for the game. This is Allen’s second ACL injury, as he tore his ACL in the 2015 Rose Bowl as well.

The Ducks were hoping for a breakout season from Allen this year, who just competed in the Rio Olympics. He had four catches for 141 yards and a touchdown against Virginia in Week 2.

Allen was the second leading receiver on the Ducks roster.

OL Tyrell Crosby, Oregon

The Oregon Ducks have lost left tackle Tyrell Crosby for the remainder of the season due to a broken foot.

Crosby is the starting left tackle for the Oregon Ducks and started 12 games in 2015 for the Ducks. It puts their passing protection in jeopardy, as evidenced by last week’s loss to Nebraska.

The Ducks have Colorado this week, which should be an interesting game for the offense going forward.

QB Luke Del Rio, Florida

The Florida Gators will be without starting quarterback Luke Del Rio this week due to a knee injury. Del Rio will miss 2-3 weeks with a sprained knee.

Del Rio will travel this week to Tennessee but backup quarterback Austin Appleby will start in his place this week.

The Gators will be without their leading signal signal caller in the SEC opener, which could dampen things this week. The Volunteers are hungry for victory, as they’ve lost the last 11 meetings.
