After the first four weeks of the season, three teams in the SEC remain undefeated, and the first coaching causality of the season has already occurred. Here are the week four power rankings for the Southeastern Conference.

The top teams in the conference continue to show why they deserve to be at the top. Teams such as Alabama, Texas A&M, Tennessee and Ole Miss all had impressive showings on Saturday and proved that some of the best matchups of the 2016 season are still to come. Teams like Florida, LSU and Arkansas proved that they still have some things to improve upon in order to contend this season and in the future.

Week 5 might show an uninspiring schedule amongst the teams in the conference, but many will be looking to avoid an upset as teams continue to push towards the SEC championship and better bowl positioning.

Here are how the teams shake out for the week four power rankings:

After a blowout loss to Georgia Tech, Vanderbilt needed something good to happen and they got just that with a win over Western Kentucky.

Vanderbilt got revenge over the Western Kentucky Hilltopers, after their loss to WKU last season. The Commodores are now sitting at 2-2 on the season and in the game against WKU, finally showed the potential that their offense has when everything goes the way they need it to. Ralph Webb provided a solid ground game and Kyle Shurmur (at least in the 4th quarter and overtime) provided a good air attack. When both parts of the offense are working, which can be rare, Vanderbilt can be a difficult team to face.

Vanderbilt will have to continue to play well on offense if the Commodores are going to be able to beat or at least compete with the top SEC East teams that they have yet to play, but the win over Western Kentucky was promising.
