Louisville Cardinals quarterback Lamar Jackson had another unbelievable performance on Saturday against the Boston College Eagles, putting up touchdown after touchdown.

In case you didn’t know by now, Louisville Cardinals quarterback Lamar Jackson is having a season unlike anything we’ve seen in quite some time in college football.

On Saturday, Jackson was back at it again with an unbelievable performance against the Boston College Eagles. The Louisville quarterback was already the Heisman Trophy front runner heading into this week, but after another absurd outing, it looks like the award will be his at the end of the season.

Jackson was on fire from the start, helping the Cardinals take a 21-0 lead after the first quarter behind two passing touchdowns and one score on the ground. His first carry of the game was a big one, going off for 69 yards on his way to an easy score. You can check the touchdown out below.

After that score, Lamar came back and showed off his arm on a 30-yard score to James Quick. A few minutes later showed off the deep touch again with a 40-yard score to Jaylen Smith.

Jackson and the Cardinals continued to pile on in the second quarter. The Louisville QB found Quick again for an easy 10-yard touchdown before finding his tight end Cole Hikutini for his fourth passing touchdown and fifth total score of the game with over six minutes remaining in the first half.

There were concerns that Jackson had gotten hurt later in the first half. However, Jackson looked pretty healthy in the third quarter when he essentially walked in for his sixth touchdown of the game to put Louisville up 45-7.

Things just kept getting better from there for Jackson. Shortly after, he turned on the jets once again for a 53-yard rushing touchdown.

Jackson was eventually benched in the fourth quarter, but his final stat line was one of the best he’s had all season. The Louisville quarterback finished the game going 12-of-17 through the air with 231 yards, four touchdowns and an interception to go along with 185 yards and three TDs on just 15 carries.

With 45 total touchdowns this season, it looks like the Heisman Trophy will be going to Lamar Jackson at the end of the year.
