The ACC schedule rolls on. While Week 10 didn’t produce any upsets, it showed which teams are ready for bowl season and beyond.

This week’s power rankings doesn’t feature much change at the top but the bottom half are still battling for position. The Blue Devils remain winless in ACC play but they put up a hard fight. The Wolfpack still haven’t recovered from their would-be Clemson victory a few weeks ago. Their losing streak is at

The Clemson Tigers and Virginia Tech Hokies are still the leaders atop the Atlantic and Coastal divisions respectively. The Tigers made quick work of the Syracuse Orange this week, pitching a shut out. The Hokies used a special teams touchdown to break away from the Duke Blue Devils early.

The ACC schedule this week produced some pretty interesting results. The Wake Forest Demon Deacons earned their sixth victory of the season, making them bowl eligible for the first time since 2011. Miami put up 51 points this week against Pittsburgh.

The Boston College Golden Eagles took a step back in the power rankings in Week 10. At 4-5 on the season and 2-3 in the ACC, they are the last place team in this week’s rankings.

After their 52-7 loss to Louisville, they still have a long way to go. The defense allowed Cardinals quarterback Lamar Jackson to gain 416 total yards (185 rushing, 231 passing) along with seven total touchdowns.

They allowed over 500 yards on defense for the fourth time this season in a rout.

The offense didn’t do much better. They managed to gain 150 passing yards and 57 rushing yards as a team. As a result, they only earned  seven points. It is the second game this season the Golden Eagles have been held under 50 rushing yards. They rushed for 44 yards in their 49-0 loss to Virginia Tech.

The offense had three turnovers, was four for 16 on third down conversions, and had nine first downs all game.

The Golden Eagles travel to Tallahassee this week to face the Florida State Seminoles. They have lost six straight games to Florida State.
