Find out how to stream the ACC Atlantic matchup between the No. 18 Florida State Seminoles and the Boston College Eagles.

Florida State and Boston College will meet in Tallahassee with one trying to inch closer to bowl eligibility and the other trying to improve their potential bid. Neither team is happy to be out of the ACC Atlantic race, so the goals for the end of the season have to be readjusted. Boston College at least ended its ACC drought and now has to win two of its final three games to become bowl eligible. Florida State and Jimbo Fisher may be losing their star running back to the NFL Draft after the season, so they are preparing to build around their freshman quarterback Deondre Francois.

The Eagles (4-5, 1-5 ACC) were winless in both football and basketball for the 2015-16 season, for a depressing 0-26. That streak of futility continued into this season with four more losses. Finally, the neverending nightmare came to an end two weeks ago in Raleigh.  Boston College scored the only points of the fourth quarter to erase a deficit entering the quarter. Junior Karmin Moore picked off Ryan Finley in the end zone to seal the 21-14 win. The Eagles were run off the field last week, but its not like they are the first team to have Lamar Jackson’s Louisiville do that to them.

For the talent discrepancies and better recruiting base, Florida State (6-3, 3-3 ACC) has somehow had the worse offense. Deondre Francois has been beaten up consistenly thanks to a porous offensive line. The rookie quarterback has been sacked 26 times. Even with arguably the best running back in the country when he’s healthy, junior Dalvin Cook, Florida State is 88th in rushing offense. Add to that a shaky passing defense without safety Derwin James and it’s not surprising Florida State has been a middling ACC team this year.
