Here’s how you can watch Friday evening’s Western Michigan vs Ohio game for the MAC Championship.

Western Michigan has a ton of weight on it’s shoulders. What’s at stake? A New Year’s Six Game. While that may be the norm for some programs, it would be a huge accomplishments for the Broncos.

The Broncos have done enough to secure just that, as beating Ohio will certainly leave them as the highest ranked group of five team. A loss to Ohio, however, could be disastrous. Ohio hopes to be up to the challenge.

Ohio knows that the first step will be stopping Western Michigan quarterback Zach Terell. Bobcats coach Frank Solich knows it, as he let an uneasy chuckle out during Monday’s Mid-American Conference teleconference, “So far, no one disrupts him, . . . we’re still trying to work on that game plan.”

Ohio has had a great season and makes the MAC Championship as a respectable opponent. Most expect a Western Michigan win, however. It is easy to understand the confidence in Western Michigan, as their offense has been absolutely elite.

The previously mentioned Zach Terrell leads the way with 3,086 passing

yards and 30 touchdowns against just one interception. He doesn’t do it alone, though. His favorite target Corey Davis leads the team with 83 receptions for 1,283 yards. Those are video game numbers, but the passing game doesn’t do it alone. Jarvion Franklin leads the rushing attack with 1,266 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Good luck Ohio, everyone likes the underdog.

Prediction: The favorite has covered the spread in the MAC Championship every year since 2011. Don’t expect that to change this year. Ohio will be a game opponent, but Western Michigan’s offense will be too much to stop. Ohio will score in garbage time to make it close, but Western Michigan will cover.
