Here’s how you can watch Saturday’s Baylor vs West Virginia Big 12 conference game via a live stream.

This Saturday is championship weekend in college football. Many of us wish our favorite team was playing, but we’ll have to wait for bowl season or next year for that. Thankfully there will be plenty of great conference championship games. We do, though, expect some of them to be blowouts. This game could turn out any number of ways, which makes keeping an eye on the live stream ideal.

About midway through the season, this projected as THE game for this weekend. Both teams were rising in the polls, and this game could serve as a de facto Big 12 Championship. Instead, though, Baylor went cold and West Virginia has been beaten twice. Both teams are bowl eligible, though, and have more than just pride to play for. Each programs needs some positive news, and a better bowl always helps.

Baylor, for all it’s trouble, could use a lift from a big win Saturday. While I can’t say I think they deserve it, there’s no denying the lift it could provide. Although the Baylor Bears have a win over Oklahoma State, that is about all that has gone right in 2016. It has largely been a wasted season in Waco, which comes as no surprise. Baylor will need to exert an elite effort to stay above .500 for the season. West Virginia will be looking to drop them below that mark.

The Mountaineers are the clear-cut third best team in the confernece. That is good enough

for a division crown in many conference, but West Virginia gets no such distinction. Just ask While Wisconsin gets a shot at a conference championship, West Virginia has to put it on the line against Baylor. The Mountaineers will look to ride a seemingly unstoppable run game to win number 10 on the season.

Prediction:

While Zach Smith is showing he’ll be a great Baylor quarterback, he isn’t good enough yet to offset a terrible defense. West Virginia should continue to rush at will against Baylor. In addition, the Mountaineer defense should provide a stiff test for Baylor. 17.5 points is a lot to cover for a team that has no shot at the College Football Playoff, though, so I’d look for heads up action.
