College football bowl games are coming, and so are the Las Vegas betting lines. Here are my yearly picks against the spread.

The last five years I’ve provided readers with this list of picks for all the college football bowl games. In 2015, my 75 percent record took a bit of a dip, going 25-17 against the spread in the bowl games and national championship game. Still a pretty respectable number.

I’ve broken down the team in each bowl game, and looked at the current betting lines to give you some solid bowl game wager advice for the season.

Some fun bowl game betting factoids for this season’s matchups:

  • Including the playoffs, the SEC and ACC will each face ten Power-5 foes in the bowls, the Big Ten takes on nine, the Pac-12 faces six, and the Big 12 faces five.
  • In their playoff game against Alabama, the Washington Huskies are the only Pac-12 underdog this postseason.
  • The SEC is favored in 7 of their 11 bowl games, with South Carolina being an underdog in the conference’s only non Power-5 bowl matchup.
  • The ACC is favored in only five of their 11 bowl games this year.
  • Oklahoma is the only Big 12 favorite of their six bowl games this year.
  • The American is a favorite in five of their seven bowl matchups.
  • Utah State is the only member of the MWC’s Mountain Division not in a bowl.
  • This is the first time since 1985 that Army has played in a bowl game and Notre Dame has not.

Time for some picks. Here’s a brief breakdown of each game, some looks at the current average point spread and which teams will cover their spread or beat them.
