4-Star LB Levi Jones trolls Florida and Florida State with his USC Commitment

Four-star linebacker Levi Jones trolled the Florida Gators and Florida State Seminoles in epic fashion while committing to the USC Trojans.

There were a handful of teams hoping to land the services of four-star outside linebacker Levi Jones on Wednesday. Unfortunately, a couple of those teams’ fans got trolled in the worst way possible.

During National Signing Day, Jones came to his press conference wearing plenty of layers. After initially taking off his jacket, Jones revealed a Florida Gators shirt, leading to plenty of cheers from the crowd attendance.

However, the No. 4-ranked OLB quickly told the crowd, “you better chill” before taking that shirt off to reveal a Florida State shirt. He then took off that shirt (sorry Seminoles fans) to reveal a USC Trojans shirt before saying “Fight On” and making his commitment official.

You can watch the video of Jones’ trolling the Florida-based programs below, but you might want to avoid watching it if you’re a Gators or Seminoles fan.

You’ve got to appreciate the creativity from Jones for his official commitment, but I’m sure that there’s going to be plenty of backlash on social media over the incident. Let’s also not forget that this is a kid who is choosing where to go to school.

Trojans head coach Clay Helton has landed a solid recruiting class this offseason, and he’s hoping that players like Jones will wind up being major contributors down the road. Winning the Pac-12 is no easy task, but with Sam Darnold at quarterback in 2017, expectations will be high for USC.
