We all know that the football offseason is perhaps the longest in sports (it seems that way anyway). The NFL Scouting Combine is one of the few offseason events for college and NFL fans that provide us with some form of football and allow for fans to get a glimpse at the potential future superstars of the league and of their respective teams.

Altogether, 330 players were invited to the Combine. They come from all sorts of schools in the US, from Alabama to Charleston Southern and beyond, with one goal. Prove to NFL coaches, scouts and executives in attendance, that they are worth being drafted and will make a difference for that persons team.

The Combine always seems to have some sort of spectacle to it, even if it is commonly referred to as the “underwear Olympics.” Players participate in lifting drills, 40 yard dashes, high jumps, long jumps, passing/receiving/running drills, lineman drills and more throughout the four day event. This is one of the last chances to demonstrate their abilities to team officials, other than that, it comes down to individual schools Pro Days and private workouts with teams that are interested in drafting said prospect.

Thanks to the NFL’s website, here is a list of all of the players attending the 2017 NFL Scouting Combine.
