Baylor football finished with the No. 35 class in the country for 2019, but which incoming freshmen could have an immediate impact for the Bears?

Matt Rhule’s decision to stick with Baylor despite plenty of NFL interest seemed to pay off as the Bears finished with a winning record just one season after recording just one victory.

The Bears were much more competitive in the Big 12 during the 2018 season and the future seems fairly bright in Waco, especially with the talented crop of recruits Rhule reeled in with his 2019 class.

Which five freshmen will have an instant impact for the Bears in 2019?

OK, Blake Bedier may not be coming in as a freshman as he’s from Snow College in Utah but he has all the tools to be one of those newcomers to have an immediate impact.

The transfer from Utah is one of the best offensive tackles coming from that level, ranking No. 83 JUCO prospect as well as the 10th-best offensive tackle, according to 247Sports.

Bedier stands 6-foot-6 and weighs in at 285 pounds and he could help the Bears replace some departing seniors up front such as Blake Blackmar and Patrick Lawrence. Though he may not be prepared to make the switch to guard, he could enter that playing rotation with some college experience already under his belt and openings along the line for the Bears.

Baylor could use all the help it can get from incoming offensive linemen as the depth may be a concern moving forward.
