Brett Hundley, Quarterback, UCLA Bruins- 19 of 26 for 189 Yards & 1 Touchdown; 24 Carries for 131 Yards (Defeated Arizona Wildcats 17-7)

Brett Hundley still has no help, particularly on the offensive line, but he is finding ways to will the UCLA Bruins to victory. He did it again on Saturday night against the Arizona Wildcats, and with Utah’s loss, the Bruins are now right back in the thick of the Pac-12 South race.

Hundley and Hundley alone is the reason for that. His passing numbers were a little pedestrian Saturday, with only 189 yards and a touchdown, but to rush for another 131 yards against a very good Arizona defensive line was remarkable. He played a sensational game, and we can’t forget about him when mentioning elite players.

Yes, UCLA’s defense deserves lots of credit. Holding Arizona to 7 points can’t be understated from a performance perspective, but Hundley was the one who came through in the end.

And UCLA is back in the race for a lot of things now because of him, so we are going to put him on our Blitz Points winners list for Week 10.
