Last Game: Lost to Boise State Broncos 38-30 in the Fiesta Bowl

Time for a little perspective. Yes, the loss to the Boise State Broncos to fall to 10-4 to close out the season had to be sickening for the Arizona Wildcats. But Rich Rodriguez has done a tremendous job with the program, and it is clear that he has these guys heading in the right direction.

This team won the extremely deep Pac-12 South that spent all season truly beating up on each other, and truth be told, they shouldn’t have had the talent to do that just yet. This was a band of overachievers from the start, led by Scooby Wright III on defense, and credit for that goes to Rodriguez.

So if he can get his guys to overachieve now, think about what it’ll be like when more and more talent begins to pour into the program. Arizona earned the right to be a Top 20 team after winning its division, and even with the loss to Boise State, there is a lot to be proud of this season.

It’s only going to get better.
