The Nittany Lions quietly boasted the ninth best passing defense in the country last season. This group will look somewhat different in 2015, but still retains a ton of talent and leadership.

They lost Adrian Amos who was a solid contributor at Safety and will be moving cornerback Jordan Lucas to Safety to replace him. Filling in at the vacant cornerback slot will be rising sophomore Grant Haley.

The other two rounding out the secondary are sophomore Marcus Allen and Senior Trevor Williams. This is a super talented group that could really be one of the best in the country. This combination will be Penn State’s backbone on defense and should give opposing quarterbacks nightmares.
