55.
Marcus Peters missed six games this past year, including the last five of the season after being dismissed, but he still managed to come down with three interceptions and seven pass deflections on the year. At 6’0″ and 197 pounds, this guy is a serious playmaker.

Peters is a physical guy who, according to scouts, is great at playing press-man coverage, and that’s something that will show in Pac-12 football with the way different offenses spread the football around.

But what is also impressive about Peters is that he had no trouble adjusting to a change in coaching staffs from Justin Wilcox under Steve Sarkisian to Pete Kwiatkowski under Chris Petersen, although they both have similar styles. Peters was playing extremely well until his dismissal in 2014.

And to the point of that dismissal, character questions will obviously come into play, especially since his dismissal came after an argument with an assistant coach. He could be a head case to deal with, but this is Mike Tomlin and the Pittsburgh Steelers we are talking about.

He can keep anybody in line and relate well to eccentric personalities, so he is a perfect fit with the Steelers, who significantly need upgrades in the secondary.
. Cornerback. Washington Huskies. Marcus Peters. 22. player
