123.
The Dallas Cowboys do not need to do anything with offensive players over the next two years in the draft. They are completely set as long as they can put up the money to keep everybody. Defense, however, is a different story and requires upgrades in lots of places.

Why not start with the defensive line? Defensive tackle Jordan Phillips is a game-changer on the line if he stays focused the entire time. Last year he was able to pick up a pair of sacks and 20 solo tackles.

That is not much, but again, defensive tackles can be hit or miss with stats because of how they are utilized.

Still, at 6’5″ 329 pounds, Phillips has a massive frame, can play in any system, and he commanded enough attention last year to free up other defenders on Oklahoma to pick up stats, most notably linebacker Eric Striker.

Phillips will be able to have that same type of presence in the NFL, and it is a perfect starting point for the Cowboys as the get set to upgrade their defense. If Phillips can make an impact immediately, rhen we might be talking about Dallas being the most complete team in the NFL next year.

Remember, they already have some nice pieces on defense. They just need more, and it starts on the line.
. Defensive Tackle. Oklahoma Sooners. Jordan Phillips. 27. player
