Cameron Erving. 32. player. 47.
On the offensive side of the ball, the New England Patriots have obviously built their 15-year run around Tom Brady, but the system depends on the pass blocking of interior linemen. Those are the guys who give Brady time to wait for his undersized receivers to decide which route to break on.

Remember, the Pats offense is all about reaction to what the defense is running after the play is called. That means they need pass-blocking more than anybody else, and Cameron Erving is a perfect addition to keep this team good after winning their Super Bowl.

Erving is a 6’5″ 313 pound center who converted from defensive tackle, and while on the field he helped give Jameis Winston lots of time to make decisions. His efforts can’t be understated.

And knowing both sides of the ball combined with his quickness will be perfect for the Patriots, who need smart and quick linemen. Erving’s size will allow Brady to continue to step into throws as well.

A solid rotation on the offensive line is the most crucial part of the Patriots’ offense, and it’s what allowed them to go 11-5 even when Brady went down for the year.

They need to keep it fresh and youthful, and Erving is a perfect addition to it.
.
