You’d love him to be an inch taller and 15-25 pounds heavier, but he is the same size as Pro Bowler Von Miller, so I think he will be just fine in the NFL. He should hear his name called as early as No. 6 or No. 7 and should fall no farther than the middle of the first.

Vic Beasley
Edge, Clemson
Vic Beasley bypassed the NFL draft last year when he was projected as a late first round pick and returned to Clemson where he set the school’s career sack record and won the ACC Defensive Player of the Year. He is the ACC leader in career sacks with 33 and tackles for loss with 52 and turned in the best combine performance of any player at his position.
The 6’3, 246-pound edge rusher ran a blazing 4.53 time in the 40, has a 41-inch vertical jump, 10 foot 10 inch broad jump and a 1.59 time in the 10-yard split. He checked all the boxes for what you want to see in a dynamic edge rusher.
