Steve Spurrier: Han Solo

Come on, who disagrees with this?

Steve Spurrier is a major player in the college football world with a national championship. But despite his stats showing he may not be on the same level as guys like Saban and Meyer, he is more of a favorite than any of them.

Han Solo is the same way. He was not supposed to be the favorite Star Wars character. The guy isn’t even force sensitive!!! But he’s the best pilot in the galaxy.

Spurrier is the best in-game coach in college football.

Not enough? Try Spurrier’s sarcastic and smart aleck remarks that he has made throughout the course career, which include taking shots at Tennessee, Florida State, Georgia, Florida State and Clemson, while he continues to win in the process.

That is similar to Han’s smart aleck remarks that he always made. Just picture these quotes.

“That’s not fun getting your butt beat.”

“Hey! It’s me!”

It’s a little tough to know that Spurrier made the first quote and Han made the second quote, isn’t it? Their brutal honesty combined with their swag provides comic relief for the movies and college football. And they have the skills to back it up.
