Another SEC school so they would have to appeal to welcome Golson into a loaded quarterback competition on the Capstone. The Crimson Tide are likely to start a former transfer quarterback in Jake Coker who transferred to Alabama before last season from Florida State. Coker was the backup to Blake Sims last year and is the favorite to start over David Cornwell after spring practice.

I don’t think Nick Saban would go back to the transfer well again this soon but I think Lane Kiffin would put him in a position to put up some pretty big numbers, just as Sims did, but Golson’s penchant for turnovers could make Saban lose his mind, so a possibility, but not a strong likelihood.
