Everett Golson transfer rumors: Top 8 teams for former Notre Dame QB

A fourth SEC team, a sign that the conference is devoid of established quarterback talent but another sign of Golson’s talent level. LSU struggled mightily at the position last year with Anthony Jennings failing to compete even half of his passes and true freshman Brandon Harris completely overwhelmed in his one start.

I’m not giving up on Harris, but I think he could use one more year to grow and develop on the sideline with Golson leading the way. I’m not convinced Jennings can lead this team to the SEC Championship Game, but Golson certainly could with the elite offensive talent at LSU, especially Leonard Fournette and Malachi Dupre. I think this is his best fit and best chance to win.
