Beyonce-Who Run the World (Girls)

Vanderbilt Commodores fans will be drastically offended by this song initially, but they usually appreciate cheesiness and humor. So this is the perfect humor.

Obviously, there are no women players in the NFL and only a handful that have ever suited up in college. But, despite the fact that they are not playing football, Beyonce says they run the world.

Well, Vanderbilt does not really play football. And their fans will remind you it does not matter because their graduates run the world thanks to academics. So their chant should be “Who Run the World? Commodores!”

And this could be the song they play to celebrate it. Hey, Vandy nation, before you get too offended, don’t forget that you guys once had the incredibly lame chant, “That’s alright, that’s okay, you’re going to work for us someday.”

So now, play this song at every game to remind teams that while the most you can amount to ever is a couple of nice seasons under a great coach like James Franklin when everybody else in the SEC East is bad, you as graduates amount to much greater careers than anybody at other SEC schools do.

So you run the world, and you should own it like Beyonce.

This is the end of the first of the six-part series of our suggestions for new college football fight songs for SEC teams. Stay tuned Friday for our second part, suggested fight songs for a select number of Group of Five teams.
