This game signifies who the better up-and-coming team in the SEC is, and as a result, could be an elimination game of sorts to see which team is “for real” and which team may not be able to live up to the hype.
Tennessee and Arkansas are two similarly built football teams who like to win with a great run game and strong defense, but I believe it will be the Volunteers who pull out a victory in October in front of the home crowd.
Arkansas has a very talented run game, but I think the Volunteer defense should be able to slow them down, maybe enough for the Volunteer offense to outscore the Razorbacks with their own talented rushing attack led by Jalen Hurd and Alvin Kamara.

Tennessee vs. Arkansas
Knoxville, TN, SEC Game
These two teams almost never play each other, but despite their lack of rivalry, this year’s game between the Volunteers and Arkansas Razorbacks could prove to be one of the most important games on Tennessee’s schedule.
Tennessee and Arkansas have both struggled in recent years, but with excellent coaches now leading the two programs, the Vols and Hogs are expected to contend for their divisions.
