Four best bets in Week 2 of the college football season so all you college football betting junkies can make some easy money this weekend.

Last week I finished 2-1-1 with my four best bets. I thought I had the better side with North Carolina but two interceptions in the end zone doomed the Tar Heels. Western Kentucky woke up in the second half and ended up pushing with Vanderbilt. I won the final two picks of the weekend with Louisville rallying late to earn a cover against Auburn and Ohio State dominating the second half in Virginia Tech.

This week there are several big non-conference games in Oklahoma-Tennessee, Oregon-Michigan State and LSU-Mississippi State but I don’t like any of the sides enough to pick a winner in these games. Instead I’ve spotted one low-profile game that might not even be on national TV and three over/under point totals. I’ll start with the side I like in the UMass-Colorado game:

Massachusetts at Colorado

When: Saturday at 2:00 ET

If you didn’t stay up to watch the Colorado-Hawaii game on the first night of the season, I don’t blame you. The Buffaloes outgained the Rainbow Warriors but three turnovers and special team mistakes plagued Colorado. It may have been a fluky loss but they are in a tough situation now in Week 2.

Massachusetts travels to Boulder with revenge on their mind. The Minuteman were off last weekend and have had all offseason to prepare for this game. UMass lost 41-38 last year to Colorado after blowing an 11-point second half lead. I think last season’s result will give UMass confidence as they hit the road.

As mentioned the situation, isn’t ideal for Colorado. They had a long distance to travel to Hawaii and return home after a tough loss. Next week Colorado plays rival Colorado State. Having the long travel and a rivalry game the next week is a great reason to pick against Colorado. With the added revenge and an improved UMass team, this game is one I like enough for a best bet in Week 2.

Pick: Massachusetts +13
