The biggest disappointment of the first half of the season is undoubtedly the USC Trojans. They were supposed to be the class of the Pac-12 South and beat Oregon in the Pac-12 Championship Game and possibly win the national championship behind quarterback Cody Kessler and an army of former five-star recruits.

They’re 3-3 through six games and their biggest loss of the season was their head coach. Steve Sarkisian began the season on the hot seat after a drunken episode at the Salute to Troy event and after he showed up to practice after the loss to Washington intoxicated, he was asked to take a leave of absence and was fired one day later.

USC’s problems go beyond the field unlike the previously mentioned teams who have to only worry about their disappointing play. USC has disappointed on and off the field and despite the loaded roster has once again wasted the talents of Kessler, Adoree Jackson, JuJu Smith-Schuster, among others.
