This is a sneaky game for Arizona State. The Cougars are the real deal, and the snow is falling in Pullman.
The running game doesn’t exist much for Washington State, so we’ll see if they look to establish it early to get Arizona State off tempo, and how Falk can throw. The weather will affect both of these offenses, but Washington State is used to playing in conditions like that for the most part. Arizona State, not so much.
With the cold and harsh weather conditions, this has Washington State all over it. It just spells trouble for a team that has practiced in 80+ degree weather, who has been extremely inconsistent, and sloppy this season.
If this were played in Tempe, I’d give the edge to Arizona State 34-17, but the weather will be too hard to overcome.
