15. ESPN College GameDay

It’s hard to imagine a college football Saturday without tuning into ESPN’s College GameDay, and preparing for a full day’s worth of games and highlights.

Certainly there are other pregame shows to watch, but the mystique of College GameDay is something that can’t be explained. There are few things that excite a student body more than to hear that CGD is coming to their campus for the weekly show.

Music, features, celebrity guest pickers and all the college football analysis and picks you can handle. It’s a great day when you hear the familiar theme song start.

Give thanks for Kirk Herbstreit, because he creates controversy. Give thanks for the golden throat of Rece Davis, because he holds it all together. Give thanks for Desmond Howard and David Pollack, former players who bring a different perspective. And give thanks for Sam Ponder, Lee Corso, the Bear, and all the others who make the show the special part of the game it has become.
