14. College Marching Bands
Hey, you can’t have a college football game without the marching bands. Like the cheerleaders, the bands are often overlooked, but are certainly missed when they aren’t present.

They sweat, work, and drive up their cardio numbers as hard as any football players, all for a few seconds of airtime on TV and 10-15 minutes on the field during halftime. They play the unmistakable tunes during games that let you know exactly who is playing, even if you aren’t looking.
You couldn’t have the Tennessee forming of the T, the Ohio State dotting of the I, the excitement of Osceola’s flaming spear or the sword of the Trojans being driven into the ground without the marching band being a part of it.
Without the bands, it’s just not the same game.
